The Foundation grieves with the families of the victims of this Easter Sunday’s atrocities in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Senseless and wanton violence has no place in our world. Targeting people in a place of prayer is as much disgraceful and an affront to humanity as it is criminal. These heinous attacks were designed to undermine the social fabric of society of people of all faiths and none in Sri Lanka as well as around the globe. The Foundation is committed to working with people from across the world to never let such cowardly behavior achieve any of its objectives. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved at this sad time.
“…For had it not been that God checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of God is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down. Verily, God will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, God is All-Strong, All-Mighty.” [Holy Quran 22:40]
