Sinan Wren UK Distributes Food and Water to Truck Drivers Stuck in Kent

Sinan Wren Foundation UK alumni and volunteers have coordinated and started food distribution to Truck Drivers stuck in Kent. Our teams are working hard to provide emergency food and medicine. More than 8,000 lorries and vans are waiting to cross the borders due to the ban imposed by France in an attempt to contain the newly discovered Covid-19 variant. Hot meals, water, dates and other items are being distributed.

Sinan Wren UK is proud to be working with the British Red Cross, The Salvation Army, Al Khair Foundation, Al-Nagashi Centre, Nadi Park Royal and Muslim Charities Forum. The Foundation could not have done this important work without its donors, volunteers, alumni and partners. We sincerely thank them all for making this happen.

These difficult times present an opportunity for everyone to bring the best out of them through caring and being mindful of one another. We are happy to see many Organisations across the UK doing just that.
